Julian Beever is an artist that works in an area of fine art that few other professionals do. He creates sidewalk chalk art. And he does it extremely well, creating images that when viewed from a specific point, appear to be three dimensional. Here’s one of my favorites titled Superheroes II:

Your Daily Dose for April 25, 2008

The following is a music video for the song 1 2 3 4 performed by Feist. It’s a catchy song, it’s simple, fun, and a great way to start enjoying the weekend a few hours early.


I think the video deserves merit not only for it’s creativity, but also because it’s the exact opposite of most music videos on television today. In the age of Mtv, viewers are bombarded with quick camera cuts, flashy effects and an overall sense that you may have a seizure at any moment. Feist does away with all of that, and instead allows viewers to simply relax and enjoy themselves.
