Constitution Day Dinner - Wednesday, September 17

On September 17, 1787, thirty-nine brave men signed the document known as the Constitution of the United States of America, laying out the structure of America’s government and the rights of her citizens, chief among them the ten Amendments known as the Bill of Rights.

On September 17, 2008, the Republican Liberty Caucus of Northeast Florida is holding its first annual Constitution Day Dinner in honor of the 221st anniversary of the signing of the Constitution.  This Constitution Day Dinner will be held at the Sneakers Sports Grille located at 8133 Point Meadows Way.

SINCERELY YOURS

I was getting ready to go to work the other night when my eye got caught on my son Patrick, who was sitting at the computer looking straight at the screen like hypnotized! All of a sudden his little fingers would hit the keyboard like an electric discharge coming straight from his little brain.

_Patrick what are you doing?

-Homework, he answered without even looking at me

-I see, and what kind of homework is it?

-Politics mom!

-I see! Social Studies?

- No mom, real politics! I am writing to the President of the Unites States!
