This week I will feature one of my favorite commericals for each Daily Dose. To kick things off, here is one of the greatest commercials of all time. (And in case you were wondering...it wasn't created with computers.)

Check out the video below to see how it was made:

This is currently one of the most popular videos on Youtube. Guys jumping into a pair of jeans. And the stunts only get better as the video goes on. Because it's so incredibly lighthearted and fun, I thought it would make a great video for a Friday. Enjoy, and have a great weekend.

Jason Polan says he is attempting to draw everyone in New York. He draws people quickly, as he sees them in a park, on a subway or walking across the street. He then posts the drawings on his blog, Every Person In New York.

The best part is that Polan says, "When the project is completed we will all have a get together."

I guess it's time I came clean with all of you. I am a HUGE Star Wars nerd/fan and have been doing my best to not post any Star Wars related videos. But that ends today with my favorite fan-made video clip, entitled "Darth Vader Being a Jerk". The editing work on this is fantastic, and never ceases to make me laugh.

Daniel Tammet is a mathematical savant, able to make amazing calculations in his head. He can even calculate answers to over a hundred decimal places. He also speaks nine different languages and says he can learn a new one in just under a week. His story is absolutely fascinating. The video is a full documentary (48 minutes) but I promise is worth watching all the way through. If you don't want to watch the entire thing, at least watch the first eight minutes...

I was a tour guide in college, so the following video holds a special place in my heart. Every year, students at James Madison University pull a prank on an unsuspecting tour group of high school students and their parents. They seemed to really hit their stride three years ago, even planting someone in the group to videotape the whole thing. The video is really is a little over 20 minutes, but is really well edited and incredibly entertaining.

Ever wonder why every product on the market today comes in at least thirty-seven different varieties? Well, it's got a lot to do with spaghetti sauce...check out the following talk by Malcolm Gladwell. It's an interesting look at the man who completely redifined how companies market to their consumers. Definitely worth watching. (Click 'read more' below for the video.)

We live in an age where technology is king, and new gadgets and gizmos whiz their way into our lives almost everyday. Gadgets that do amazing and wonderous things. Gadgets that we're told will enhance our lives. And then there's the Leave Me Alone Box.

When a switch on the outside of the box is flipped, a hand comes out and flips the switch off. That’s it. That's all it does. And I think it’s great.

I’ve always wanted to be a bike messenger, also known as a bike courier. They ride through inner city traffic like they have nothing to lose…barely dodging cars, pedestrians and anything else in their way. Today’s Daily Dose is a first-person view of a fast paced bike messenger race in San Francisco. (Click on 'read more' below the video)

Julian Beever is an artist that works in an area of fine art that few other professionals do. He creates sidewalk chalk art. And he does it extremely well, creating images that when viewed from a specific point, appear to be three dimensional. Here’s one of my favorites titled Superheroes II:

Beever produces some really creative work, and his web gallery is worth browsing. Click on 'read more', below, to see an example of what one of the drawings looks like from the wrong viewpoint.
